Nothing is more certain than death, but the way people deal with death and dying varies across different cultures and religions. Seeking to understand the varying beliefs and practices brings a respect within the differences. Death Across Cultures Community Forum offers an opportunity to hear varying beliefs and practices around death from representatives of four faiths: Buddhist, Christian, Hindu and Muslim.

The Death Across Cultures Community Forum is being held as part of Dying to Know Day is an annual campaign where our community is encouraged to start conversations about death. During August, the Town of Walkerville and Walkerville Uniting Church will provide a number of events to coincide with this campaign.
