Kate Tye, Senior Manager at Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network. Kate has strategic oversight of vulnerable populations including end of life care. Her particular passion is in leveraging community capital to support people at end of life and has a great interest in compassionate communities.
As the Lead Project Manager for the Health Workforce Australia (Department of Health and Ageing) Aged Care Workforce Reform Project Kate, led significant workforce change initiatives across 8 implementation sites nationally which demonstrated changes in the workforce modelling and service capacity for older people. Kate has assisted with strategic and operational planning work with Councils, organisations, communities to lead collective impact, social and system change.
Kate is currently completing Master of Public Health, holds a B.A. in Health, Ageing and Community Services with workplace trainer and assessor qualifications. She holds post-graduate qualifications in Case Management.
